I am not trying to sound heartless or anything...but I keep seeing - TopicsExpress

I am not trying to sound heartless or anything...but I keep seeing all these posts about that actor who died and the guy who was driving the car. But has anyone thought to themselves...why in the world were they driving so fast? What if they hit another person? Someone who had nothing to do with them, just a by stander....it is just luck that they only hit inanimate objects. I mean it is sad that these two people lost their lives. But....why were they going so fast? I saw the pictures posted from the scene. And there is no way speed wasnt a factor. And I am sorry, but you just do not go that fast by accident. It is a decision to drive that fast. And these are the repercussions for the poor decisions that were made that day. They were both grown men, who knew what they were doing when they did it. And I know this statement is going to make me seem so heartless and mean, but really...I am not sorry for those guys. I hate it that their families are going through this loss, especially at this time of year. But that is the extent of my sympathy. People need to stop acting like these to men were victims of some horrible accident. It was a car crash. Not an accident. Accidents are unavoidable events. This crash was quite avoidable. If only the driver has used a tiny bit of common sense, when deciding the speed he was going to drive.
