I am now the proud owner of a totally useless Humax Freesat receiver. Well not totally useless, it will work quite well a couple of hundred klicks up the road. When we lost UK satellite TV we thought that was the end of an era. Now, one month down the road, little has changed. BBC, ITV, Ch4, Ch5 are all still available via the internet. You just have to change your viewing method. We are lucky in having a dedicated PC linked to the TV via an HDMI output. The PC in question has been optimised for TV viewing. I have to admit it did take a while to get it sorted! Second home owners without ADSL will, presumably, have to spend money or just rely on TNT.
