I am officially an old person~went to Wal Mart in Spokane. Tried to check out. Only two lanes open. How many other people checking out. Too numerous to count. Saw a nice looking man who turned out to have no sense of humor with manager written on his name tag. Told him I was close to shop lifting. He said that was not a good idea. I said I am not trying to be a jerk but it seems to me there should be more than 2 check out lanes open in a store this size. His expression never changed but immediately 8 lanes were open and as I was checking out I noticed two checkers standing behind me. Maybe making sure I was not shoplifting. The same thing happens in Omak & Colville. We WERE going to stop in Colville Wal Mart to get the wet stuff but called it a very naughty word as we drove to Super 1. Checkers spoke to you. Box boy was friendly. I APPLAUD ANDERSONS IN REPUBLIC. You may pay more for some things but if there is even 1 person waiting, they call for another checker.
