I am often asked about Joseph being socialized enough because he is homeschooled, and not in public school. So I ask you this, do you think he is socialized enough? We belong to a local, HS group and a regional one. Every other week, with the local HS group we go skating from Oct-March, there is skiing in the winter, field trips on average once a month. He is finished school between 1-2 PM this yr and has friends who are also homeschooled that he hangs out with, plus his friends from when he went to school, when their work is done,(incentive) sometimes playing video games; but more often then not,they are playing what we did when we were kids, Knights, superheros, making up their own LOTR and Hobbit adventures, they are not into Westerns so no cowboys, guns from sticks or legos , swords made from broken hockey sticks, hatchets, sheilds. Make their own, and some made parents or older siblings. They play basketball, soccer, ball hockey. Again I ask are homeschool children socialized enough?
