I am old enough to remember big Christmas lights on a real tree and icicles hanging from every limb. I remember the Hudsons parade with no balloons and watching the floats and bands go by. I remember most of all the manger set my grandmother had under her tree. It must have been made up of characters from three or four old sets and nothing matched. The donkey was bigger than the wise men and the only thing that fit in the stable was Jesus. And Santa was there with only here reindeer. - Getting sentimental in my old age.
