I am on another adventure to Sioux Rapids, IA. I just resigned from my teacher assistant position to start subbing here in Ottumwa, IA last week. I was searching and searching for a full time job throughout the summer, applying to many school districts and doing interviews, but nothing came up. Once this school year started, I for sure thought I would be here in Ottumwa for another year. However, 2 days after I resigned and started subbing, I get a call out of the blue about a teaching position that opened up about 4.5 hours away from Ottumwa... I had lunch just this last Sunday with an administrator and his wife to discuss the position further... I head there this Wednesday (tomorrow) to start my new adventure... This shows me that God is always in control! Never give up on your hopes! The Godly thing is that I just talked to my mom that same day and she said she would be praying for me to find a long term subbing position that would become a contracted position. Shortly after our conversation, I received the call from the school. God answered her prayer quicker than I expected... God is awesome!! He has a timing for everything! I will for sure miss all of my wonderful neighbors, all of my amazing coworkers at the school Joyce Taylor and at my night job Huey HaymakerDamon McFarland Brian Blu-Ray Johnson and the awesome people I work with at Ignite Tom Tommy Wilkins Jenna Wilkins Angela Veenstra Tyler Abigt Jonathan Strube Thomas Minor Bill Bill D King-Solver Ezekiel Elkins Marty Schmidt Tony Widdel and working with BridgeKids with Kelsey Van Hemert . I will miss this home away from home!! Thanks for all the prayers as I start a new adventure!! All I know is that God is in control! He has a timing for everything!
