I passed the eye-exam, the can you fill this form out exam, the testing the sons patience while we drove back to my place to get proof-of-new-address exam, the DMV-employee impertinence-tolerance exam, the yes I have both a birth certificate and passport exam, the make my signature look both authentic and yet pretty exam, and the sit here and look cute while we take a photo you have to live with for the next 8 years exam. I got my car back ... and it DOES have the updated registration stickers on the tag (making the officers accusations about it being expired a moot point, and thus, harassment). I still do NOT know what prompted him to pull over, let me pass, and follow me while running a search on my vehicle ... must be the missing hub-cap. THANK you, Zachary Israel Brehm, for rescuing your mama, and for the nostalgic drive in the big ol 15 passenger van I used to cruise around in. :) NOW, I get to make deposits, buy stamps, pay the rent, get gas, take the kids shopping, and figure out how to deal with this $260.00 ticket.
