I am once again the ONLY nun in ACNA, admittedly with some good aspirants and good local clergy support, and I admit Im a little discouraged. Anybody out there care about re-building religious life in this church? I feel like a one woman army (and admittedly wonder if Im crazy not to have become Roman Catholic where supporting religious life is a priority), and I could really use some support to make this happen. I suspect God is dead serious about this new religious order--that its ministry of prayer is critical to His working in this new church. But the trouble is I cant live a life of prayer and do everything else, too. So if you want to see religious life flourish, please contact me. We need to accomplish some easy and some difficult things. I need to develop a team to evaluate potential candidates (and keep me from wasting time on unsuitable novices). I need to develop a team to be on the look out for potential vocations, encourage young people to consider the religious life and try to get me where the young people congregate. To do this I need people in all the various dioceses to be part of the team. And, ah yes, we need the miracle of an endowment. This is necessary both to be able to withdraw to prayer and to train young people properly for the religious life. Anybody out there want to help? Franciscan Missionaries of Divine Compassion
