I am opposed to our involvement in Syria because I fail to see the strategic advantage to be gained by arming our enemy as they fight our other enemy. The UN is the single most useless entity on the planet and it rarely accomplishes anything of value because of bureaucratic red tape and gutless political correctness. Having said that, a UN tribunal would put military action against Syria into the abyss of inaction for the next 500 years so it may be a good stalling tactic. The UN will never be a solution to, well anything.
