I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and concern from the majority of my former coworkers and patients upon hearing that I will not be working out a 4 week notice. It was not my decision but the only regret I have is that I didnt get to tell my patients personally (some after 8 years of being their nurse) that I wont be back. However, some have already gotten word of my sudden departure and have called, some with tears and all with sincere sadness. For any of you who know me, you know I would never just drop my patients like that. I love them all like family. I will tentatively be starting my new job at Wellcare next Monday. I cannot wait as the team I will be working for has already reached out to me and made me feel welcome. My new manager is anxious to get me started and has gone above and beyond to make it happen. I just dont know how to act with all this love and support. Considering the different things that have taken place in the past couple months up to today, I am convinced that God has been working it out all along. Finally, to those who have tried...you did NOT steal my joy. I couldnt be in a better place in my life. And if your actions made this happen for me, THANK YOU!! (And thats all I have to say about that! )
