I am pleased to announce that I am officially a candidate for the Lexington County School District Four Board of Trustees. I was persuaded to run for this position by some people that I greatly respect and admire. I feel that it is my civic duty to get more involved. If elected, I look forward to working with the professionals in our district to provide the tools needed to ensure that all of our children are given every opportunity to grow and mature while getting an education that will help them be successful in life. While I may not know all the issues at hand, I promise to work diligently to become educated on what is needed for our district to become one of the best in our state. I grew up in Swansea and graduated from SHS in 1998. I live in this district where I also run my own business. My wife is a teacher at the Early Childhood Center and my son is currently a student there. I have deep roots in this community and a strong, vested interest in Lexington Four making me a qualified candidate for our school board. Today I enjoyed seeing pictures of your kids’ first day of school and I would be honored to serve you by helping them become the leaders of the future. I ask that you please vote for me for Lexington School District Four Board of Trustees on November 4th.
