I am pleased to present my monthly Santa Clara County Market Trends Report for August 2013. The table below provides a snapshot of the key market indicators and how they have changed since last month and last year. Color Slides of this material are available at: https://facebook/SanJoseRealEstatebyJGC Average and median sale prices in the county continued to show significant gains over last year, with the average price of Single Family Homes topping the $1 million mark for the fifth consecutive month. Inventory was down a bit, with roughly half of the listings boasting a pending sale. Homes are continuing to sell at a relatively brisk pace, with SFR’s on the market for an average of just over three weeks before accepting an offer and C/TH’s selling in less than three weeks.
