I am practising this piece, Barrios Cathedral, ready for an airing this Saturday. I plan to record this along with Bachs Chaconne *plus* a new set of pieces I have composed based on St Pauls conversion to Christianity on the road to Damascus!! So the concept is of a religiously themed classical cd. The connection to Bach, is that Barrios wrote the Cathedral after walking past a cathedral and hearing the pipe organ playing Bach inside and was inspired. It is not perfect, but watch this space as I plan to have the whole thing recorded by the end of the year.
