I am predicting the democrats will hang on to the senate..Immigration,voting reform,gay marriage,and insensitive republicans who are planning to go after president Obama and any attack threat will hurt the republicans in the 2016 elections.The republican party is going to have to tip toe through immigration reform,gay marriage and racial equality in the voting box..Many predictions call for a large GOP sweep..I dont see it,but that does not mean it wont happen..Those issues pertaining to race is causing much concern among minorities..Republican control of the house and senate does not mean the end of the world but it will user in more conservative policies which could hurt the fast growing Hispanic population. The new and stronger Hispanic presence was felt in 2012 and will be felt in 2016..So both parties if they get control really need to address the immigration problem without racial slurs coming from republican politicians.. Michigan will continue to see two democrats in the senate..The GOP has an opportunity if they win to fix many of the problems between Hispanics and the GOP.
