I am re-sending you the mail of Samira regarding Swedish Institute scholarships changes which will affect all of us: Dear all, I am writing to you because of the new Swedish government’s budget proposition, which has serious effects on our studies. It is proposed that the SI (Swedish Institutes) scholarships should be severally reduced by 2015 and onwards. This entails a reduction of students from developing countries studying in Lund and other Swedish universities, who are eligible to receive this. As this affects us all (not only students receiving SI scholarships), it is important that we students discuss this and possible ways the university should react towards this proposition. Our voices as students are important here! So, I suggest that we meet and try to gather our thoughts regarding this.
