I am reading THE BROTHERS, ( I STUPIDLY paid $30 at Barnes and Knobbles when I could have paid $19.00 at Amazon. LESSON LEARNED!) I will be posting tidbits along the way. THIS is a MUST READ, (after DO THE BIRDS SING IN HELL,of course.) In the early 1930s Allen Foster was developing cartels.while critics in the State Department argued that investments should be kept inside the US, Foster helped support the fledgling Nazi party.in 1934 he brought the biggest German nickel producer! I.G. Farben, into the cartel he promoted. This gave Nazi Germany access to the cartels resources. without Dulles, according to a study of Sullivan & Cromwell, Germany would have lacked any negotiating strength with [International Nickel], which controlled the worlds supply of nickel, a crucial ingredient in stainless steel and armor plate. I.G. Farben was also one of the worlds largest chemical companies - it would produce the Zyklon B gas used at Nazi death camps - and as Foster was bringing it into the nickel cartel, he also helped establish a global chemical cartel. In mid- 1931 a consortium of American banks, eager to safeguard their investments in Germany, persuaded the German government to accept a loan of nearly $500 million to prevent default. FOSTER was their agent. His ties to the German government tightened after Hitler took power at the beginning of 1933 and appointed Fosters old friend Hjalmar Schacht as a minister of economics. I do not know enough of the trials at Nuremberg to know why Fosters name was kept hidden. Through my ex, Peter Breggin, I did learn about some of the darker side - the way information implicating people with any power in the US were able to suppress damning information. Hopefully,with Stephans help, the truth about the Foster brothers and their role in the despicable power ploys the US has executed in manipulating foreign governments, will come to light. This needs to be less of a lesson in history and more of a call to action to fight the power plays the US is currently engaged in. AMEN!
