I am reading and hearing so many comments about depression and suicide since the death of Robin Williams. Others can not always help, medication and therapy does not always help. The person does NOT always ask for help. Many times when a person mentions being depressed it is ignored by others. In most cases when the person decides to take their life they do not mention it to anyone.....something inside just snaps and they can not continue to live! I have lost a few friends and people I knew to suicide!! Like any other death, it is a death, a loved one is gone...respect the survivors... suicide is a horrible disease that can not always be healed. Family members do not need to be ashamed, it is not a disease that they can control.
