I am seeking donations on behalf of the Society of Animal Rights known as ˝NOA˝ drustvonoa.org/index.html, a non-government, non-profit, humane , voluntary association in Banja Luka, Bosna & Hercegovnia , established 2006 . The NOA has opened another chapter of their organization and that is the Society of Ocean Rescue https://facebook/NoaOceanRescueTeam?ref=stream in Makarska, Croatia. This new chapter in Croatia is deeply committed to the conservation of the ocean and its marine life. The health of the ocean and marine life are so often taken for granted and due to our increasing numbers and wasteful practices, the ocean appears to be as vulnerable to harm by human activities as any other environmental realm. I am honored that Dragomir Mijić , the founder of the NOA, chose me to head up the Ocean Rescue Team in Makarska, Croatia. As we all know there are costs to starting new ventures. The NOA Ocean Rescue of Makarska, Croatia is looking for donations to help in covering some of theses costs. We will need printed material such as leaflets/brochures that can be handed out to the public, posters to be spread throughout the community, computer (of course used), camera and there are those usual overhead costs (electric, internet line, etc.), and down the road we are hopeful to purchase some type of a boat so we can track the marine life of the Adriatic Sea. As the school year is quickly approaching, I, personally am working with the school board in the Splitska Dalmatinka County to implement a school program in educating the children, on the ocean and its marine life, more so WHY WE MUST SAVE OUR OCEANS.
