I am seriously at the end of my rope :( My husky, Meesha, will NOT stay in the underground fence. Ive tried everything I can think of. Changed battery, bought new collar, longest prongs, took her to the groomer and had her neck shaved down to make sure there was contact with the skin since she has such thick fur, tightened it to the point it makes me feel bad putting it on her.... And still, she is out. She has almost an acre to run. Why is she doing this? My shepherd found a place in the fence where he could walk out without being zapped (people tell me Im dumb and that that is not possible, but myself and my neighbor watched him do it multiple times), so I dont know if she found it as well? I havent seen her actually walk out to know where she is doing it. I am told the fence either works or it doesnt. It doesnt work in some spots and not in others, but I dont know what else Im supposed to think. I do not believe in getting rid of animals for the most part, but I just dont know what to do. Some of my neighbors are very nasty about my dogs getting loose and turn me in. Im freaking lost right now. I love her and dont want to have to make her live in a cage - thats not a life for a husky. I dont even have an area to lock her in right now because the gates are not shutting :( Im spent. Im done. Im stressed to the max. I really dont know what to do anymore?????!!!!!
