I am sick and tired of seeing people all over my facebook talking about how much makeup girls wear and how they must be just sooooo insecure to wear that much makeup that they look like a totally different person and blah blah. It pisses me off, honestly. I LOVE makeup. I love buying it, I love wearing it, I love putting it on other people. I know for a damn fact that I am perfectly pretty with or without makeup, and I have zero problem leaving my house with a naked face. Anybody who knew me my senior year of high school knows this. Im not wearing any makeup in my profile picture. I do not put on makeup for anybodys benefit but my own, just as I do not dress for anybody but myself. And honestly, if somebody is stupid enough to think that I have naturally gold and black eyelids or bright red lips, then they dont have the right, or the brain cells to judge anybody on anything. Wearing makeup does not hurt anyone. All it does is make peoples appearance change. Do you expect everyone to wear the same outfit every day? Is the act of wearing clothes hiding the fact that I have stretch marks, or shaving my legs, hiding the fact that I have body hair so that I can fool people into thinking I dont have flaws? Or is it an expression of my personal taste in clothing and preference for the feel of smooth skin? I can go out wearing sweat pants and a hoodie one day and a ball gown and stilettos the next and nobody will bat an eye, but God forbid I make my face look different from day to day. How dare you judge a person based on how they do their makeup? What right do you have? Just stop. Stop being judgmental assholes over something that is doing nothing but making women happy. Stop.
