I am sitting at the window here really having a relaxing time and watching the sea lapping, the dragon flies circling. Hearing the business of the traffic , looking out various ways at the mountains, the beach, the lovely people working, and the beach alive with kites, games and happy sounds. We had a special trip in yesterday and loved seeing the watercourses, shimmering , the greens of the fields, and mountains. What can I say about the welcome, it was more than we deserve. Hugs, tears, joy, all mixed, with the staff at the Chu. After our meal, I had local clams steamed in lemongrass and spices, which was delicious, There was an evening concert. A trio of chic piano player and flautist, who played beautifully. Then arrived the guitarist, sax and clarinet player in old shirt long thick hair and moustache looking like he just fell out of the hippie era, but my he could play. They all complimented each other in their music, if not dress, and we had a great night. Hope to hear them again tonight. Had same same for breakfast as the girls used to laugh and say when we were here before- orange juice, omelette served with beautiful Vietnamese roll, and Cappuccino, and best part, the fruit. How good does it get!!
