I am sitting in a chair next to my bed reading poetry by David - TopicsExpress

I am sitting in a chair next to my bed reading poetry by David Whyte The frontier between silence and speech exactly the line you must cross to give yourself while saving yourself ... The word silence catches my attention. It is so very quiet here, in what I still think of as my fathers house. The silence itself has its own feel, flavor. And then suddenly I feel his presence. As if he were sitting here with me. Me in the chair, him on the edge of the bed. Do you have something to tell me? Or ask of me? I inquire. Silence ... And then I understand. For my dad loved how quiet it was here. And he just stopped by to enjoy it once again.
