I am sitting outside on my back porch staring at our pond and all - TopicsExpress

I am sitting outside on my back porch staring at our pond and all our trees and its so quiet and peaceful out here. David loved it here so very much! Our own little piece of country not far from town. My heart hurts so much and my body physically aches from missing David! Last night was a hard night once everyone went home but I knew I needed to get through it. We prayed for Davids healing so many times, as many of you did too. He received his healing in Heaven! He is resting in the arms of our Father! There is such a peace that comes with knowing that!!! I am still trying to read through the messages and post from all of you! I have to take breaks bc sometimes I cant read through my tears. I am truly overwhelmed by all of the love and support we have and are still receiving! I know that God will continue to take care of me and our girls! When you see me please dont be afraid to talk about David! I want to hear your memories and I want to talk about him! If we cry, its ok! Please love my girls if you happen to see them bc they are missing their dad so much! I had many people ask about the 25 year Postal Service pin on his shirt. David was in the Marine Corps for 10 years, then went to work at the Federal Prison for 1 year and then was with the Postal Service for 14 years. He bought back his military time towards his retirement so all that time was included in his years of service. Thats where the 25 years comes from. There were over 500 lines signed in the guest book at the funeral home and many were a Mr. & Mrs. What a huge testimony of how many lives that were touched by David! He was an amazing man and will be missed by so many! Please continue to lift our family up in prayer! Thank you all so very much!!!
