I am so Sneedville that I used have to wait my turn to use the phone with three different households because we shared a party line. I am so Sneedville that as a four or five year old child, my mother would watch me walk to the swimming pool from our yard and Smith Garland, who ran the pool, would watch me and make sure that I walked back home safely. Sometimes I walked back and forth several times a day. I am so Sneedville that I drove to school when I was fifteen because my mother and father worked out of town and my brother and I would get ourselves to school and to the store. Was also given permission to drive to my granny Thelmas in the summer. Was pulled over once by Bud Seals and when I explained to him that mom and dad gave me permission to drive to the store to get grocerys, he said ok, be careful. So many memories.......
