I am so blessed (as we are all) to have my papaw/dad in my life. He has always been a vital daily part of my life. He has taught me so much. And I can honestly say, given me nothing but good memories. From waiting for him to get home from work cuz we knew he would take us to the store to buy is a fudge cycle, or convincing me (because I was so scared to start first grade) that I would love school and make lots of friends, or helping me build a mansion Barbie house (matel has nothing on my papaws Barbie house design) or taking his pocket knife out of his pocket and whittling a horse out of a stick, to his unique way he waved and says hey. I have never seen him angry (and I do mean I can never remember my papaw ever mad) To know papaw is to love him. God truly broke the mold with him and Im so thankful He put me in his family and has allowed me to enjoy him. And now as he is getting ready to go home Im trying cherish every moment God allows us to have with precious son that I know He is so proud of and is looking forward to his home coming. So when I get to feed him, Im blessed. I kiss him as much as possible and I just smell his sweet head (my papaw has always had his own sweet smell that I wish I could bottle up so when I miss him I can open and smell me once again) Papaw your the greatest man Ive ever known and ever will know. I love you to moon and back!!!!
