I am so blown away by what my King finally made clear to me last - TopicsExpress

I am so blown away by what my King finally made clear to me last night. I did not understand why He simply would not have me write a book on Kingdom Citizenship without talking about King and Kingdom first. Rico Cortes and Ryan White have been saying this for years and I have been listening, studying and taking notes but without the revelation it means nothing. The Torah is not a set of arbitrary laws, but the constitution of a Kingdom. It was supposed to bring righteousness and justice, a form of radical social equity and fairness, to Israel and then to the entire world - as they would see the wisdom and greatness and compassion of His people that the world would desire for YHVH to be their King as well and they would glorify His Name. This was the intention, to establish perfect peace and justice because His laws, while following the same format of the legal systems of the day, made a mockery of them in their perfect mercy You see? Because He displayed His laws in the same way, it served as an in your face comparison that caused theirs to be shown as lacking, merciless, unjust and often unrighteous. Now Deut 6 makes sense: 6 Keep therefore and do them; for **this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations**, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, **Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. 7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for? 8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?** What then, is the problem with building fences of obedience around the Torah and placing them in a higher precedence to Gods own constitution? We say that His laws are not fair, righteous and just enough and that we need to improve upon them. When we go the extra distance to make sure we keep His ordinances, that is fine, but when we call adherence to those extra steps obedience, we are in grave error without even realizing it because that is how we were taught. When we remove from His laws, we also say that they are not fair or righteous enough. Obedience is to Him, and to what is ordained in His constitution, for His citizens, of His Kingdom. When we add or take away and *require* others to obey our butchered form of the constitution, we create illegitimate kingdoms of our own, not under His authority, no matter how righteous our intentions are. Does that mean that we cant clarify things, and expound upon laws? Of course not! But to raise our clarifications to the level of scripture? May it never be! We obey God alone, though we may chose to adopt a certain line of thought as to how a commandment is to be kept. Oh my King, I am just in awe. I never got it before. I had my husband read the first two sections of my book last night after I finally got it and was able to express it in writing and he just said, wow. I cant lay out the whole groundwork here, because that took thousands and thousands of words, but I no longer have to make an excuse for the validity of the Torah anymore, or for the validity of YHVH as my great Suzerain King (not a theoretical king but a true King), or Yeshua as the righteous and just heir to the throne of David. This understanding changes everything, my life is altered. I just thank my Great King that I can have understanding - I have never been happy to me me, not my whole life, but last night I sat up in bed praying and praising and thanking Him for my life. I am so grateful to be me, and that He gave me understanding to His purpose for the Torah and for His people. I am so humbled with the realization that He chose to reveal it to me as He has already revealed it to others. Everyone at Mt Sinai understood and got it. The Queen of Sheba got it. They understood the context. It didnt require breaking down old paradigms because it worked within their existing world view. That is how YHVH made Himself great in their eyes, but showing himself mighty in the midst of what they already thought was mighty. The legal structure had existed since the garden in how YHVH introduced Himself to Adam, gave him a dominion, set commands and blessings and curses into place. He took what man had added and removed and He put it back to the way it was, in perfect order. I feel like I am living inside the words of scripture right now, thats the only way I can describe it. No more theories, no more spiritualizing. The Kingdom of Heaven is an absolutely viable, living Kingdom in our midst.
