I am so excited and proud of a select group of my friends that decided to help by send at least $10 towards the building of a new school project in Kampala, Uganda. The little we sent was huge to them. Thank you for participating.... but it is not over yet. The money we sent was used to clear the land and begin construction on the perimeter wall. Others, like us, from different places in the world: like Germany, paid for the rest of the wall to be built. It is exciting to know that this work was scheduled to start December 1st and they are ahead of schedule - thanks to you. Classes are planned to begin on the first of February Next is the actual school building itself. Another $7,000 is needed. That is only $10 from 700 people. Will you be one of these? Would it be cool if they pin a Canadian Flag to at least one of the classrooms because we provided that room? Again, to those of you that have already sent yours in - Thank you.
