I am so excited for this group and the sharing of ideas on this page. Clearly we are from the land of the brave and the future of our people, next generations depends on our hands. Our forefathers were killed for centuries to get where we are today and they wanted us to have the freedom they never had. Looking at the situation now i feel like their effort has still gone to waste because we are only politically free but 100% ECONOMICALLY COLONISED and 70% SOCIALLY COLONISED. We first before most need to break this barriers in order to claim to be free. ECONOMICALLY COLONISED (explanation) . Namibia is the 34 LARGEST country out of 196 countries in the WORLD with an INSANELY small population of just 2.1 million people which is less than a citys population in many countries. Let that sink in, we are sooo FEW in a BIG peace of LAND with UNLIMITED RESOURCES but yet can NOT sustain our selves. Really???! . I liked a page called Geology page on facebook and there is no other country that shows repetitive minerals on that page then our own minerals from Tsumeb, Otjikoto Namibia and i mean varieties and take in note this minerals are chosen because of their uniqueness /quality from all minerals around the world. Where are they ??? how are they helping?? . Our Tourism industry is booming day by day and the exposure world wide for tourists to visit our country and PAY( dont forget) is great in 2014 Namibia was voted the 6th beautiful country to visit in the world by New York times magazine. ( Another kaching moment., moola) but where is it.? . Our fish industry is doing so well, i cant even talk about the fact that we have the third largest Uranium mine in the world and we have schools that dont have class rooms, and just poverty. Really???! . Let me also add that besides all that we have copper, gold, Diamond etc. . Agriculture, beef Production etc.. . So if we have this much and so much more why dont we get a taste of it? Why is there no difference? all this cant sustain 2.1 million people??? This is the reason why I say we are economically still COLONISED coz surely our economy is NOT in our hands and someone is handling it for us and feeding us the remains moshilongo shetu mwene and its getting worse day by day..
