I am so grateful for all of the amazing people who have played a part in my life at Mohonk and in the great state of New York. I am blessed to say that Ive met some people who will remain my friends for the rest of my life. I will miss everyone dearly but I know it is my time to move forward and Im very excited to head back to Michigan and continue the pursuit of my dreams. For anyone who I have seen on my farewell tour these past few days I hope you got my message to find what makes you happy, take chances and live life to the fullest. There is no greater thought for me than thinking Ive made a positive impact on the lives of those around me and hope that even though I wont see many of these people for a long time, or ever even :( , that my legacy will live on through the fond memories we have all created. There have been so many things Ive come across over the years that have taught me just how short life is and that even a simple second wasted is a crime committed upon yourself. Big or small, find what will motivate you and keep strong when the going gets tough. Set achievable goals and be proud of every little victory. Defeat only comes to those who accept anything less than what they deserve. Mohonk has changed me for the better in so many ways and I will forever be grateful... when the director of human resources makes a joke about how your parents might not recognize you because youve lost weight you know youre doing something right ;) ... anyway I cannot say enough how thankful I am for the experience Ive gained and the relationships Ive fostered. Days pass and things change but great memories stay with you forever! For anyone who took the time to read this, thank you and I hope you are inspired to do great things, dont do it for me but rather for your future self who is worthy of such accomplishment. One never knows when something might be the last time therefore cherish every good moment and never stop striving for improvement... thank you everyone, I love you all dearly and wish I had a tour bus with which to take everyone with me :) ..... and p.s. Do you have a vegetarian soup today? I would love some soup as I stuff my face with your buffet food .. oh and Ill take a hot tea too ;) (little mohonk server humor there) Be well, be strong, never stop improving and do me a favor and send me a message once in a while, Ive got one of these new fangled smart phones and Id love to hear from everyone!
