I am so horrified by the fact parents feed their kids this, this, crap! I cannot even find a word for it. This is one LARGE ( no pun intended) reason why our household is almost at 90 percent organic and homemade food, including peanut butter, jellies, breads, condiments of all sorts, herbal medicines and tinctures, body washes, toothpastes and deoderant a, household cleaning supplies, and all our utensils, food storage and dishes are all glass. Everything we use, eat, breathe contributes to our overall health and I for one refuse to have my children end up like this. But slowly our house over the past three years has gone from grocery store junk and fast food junk, cleaning chemicals and body chemical crap, plastics and bad eating habits to almost full independent sustainability, low impact, and healthy habits. We cant jump that last hurdle to make it to 100 percent though until we buy our own home and land where we can farm and have a dairy cow, chickens and a large 2,000 square foot greenhouse. This crap horrifies me to no end, and reminds me that our children are precious.
