I am so mad right now!!! I was checking my bank account last night and seen there were 2 charges that I didnt know who they were from. One of them said SQ Charles SAU for $99.96 and the other was to a LISSETT GROVE for $1.99. I called my bank and was informed these are fraudulent charges that some how they got my debit card info and the $1.99 charge is a feeler they submitted making sure it is a valid account. Unfortunately I cant do anything until they CLEAR my Account because they were still pending. This morning I will be calling them back and have to close out my debit card get a new one and wait for 5 to 7 business days to get my money back!! I was informed by the bank rep that these are multi billion dollar companies that do this and this is how they became multi billion dollar companies. How dare they!! Why dont someone shut them down. We work hard for our money and all they do is sit behind a computer and tap into innocent peoples checking accounts and take their hard earned money. Ugh! They dont even care about the inconvenience that it causes people either. What about elderly people who have no one looking out for them and wouldnt even notice? Sorry I just had to say something. Please everyone check your accounts closely. He told me this occurs everyday. Thanks for letting me vent.
