I am so proud to be a part of a generation of brilliant individuals doing everything in their power to make our world a better place. It is easy to become depressed about the state of society when you watch the awful decisions people make on TV and listen to the degrading music on the radio. However, this morning I was blown away seeing my peers use tremendous power to call for change. Emma Watson gave a speech to the United Nations last month declaring that gender equality will never be possible if only half of the population is involved.
