I am so proud to be in the same list of RSF Information heros with the bravest journalists and freedom of speech activists, like Iranian Azerbaijani journalist Said Metinpour and Ethiopian reporter Reeyot Alemu. They are in prison now, facing fake charges and tortures. Matinpour is in hunger strike for two weeks protesting tortures in prison. Look at them if you think conditions are not good to fight for freedom. They keep fighting even from behind the bars. Eight young Nida! activists (among them bloggers) do the same in Azerbaijani prison. They are arrested year ago for highlighting and organizing protests against non-combat soldier mortality in Azerbaijani army. I take the pride of sharing the same values with them, and those 99 people in RSF list. Freedom to Information heroes! P.S. Little correction to my profile in RSF list of information heroes. I am former head of Baku bureau, not Azeraijani service of RFE/RL. I still run daily show on RFE/RL Azerbaijani service. Please pass to authors
