I am so so tired of no sleep! I think I was abducted last night, - TopicsExpress

I am so so tired of no sleep! I think I was abducted last night, but I was returned, which really stinks, cause I have been couped up for way to long ,in this darn house. Took the dog for a walk down the alley way, along the cemetary , thinking it was a safe route for the dog and I.Get some exercise and raise our spirits. Really, what was I thinking? Stepped on a rock, twisted my ankle and landed in the cemetary! Does anyone really know how creepy that is? And to top it off as I am laying there, feeling unbelievablely embarrassed. I mean, look, I just fell on someone ,woke them up, and I hear this crow in the tree above me, laughing his Arsh off. Who, I ask, who, can do this, but me, or my family? It doesnt end there, either! How many people get woke up after a half hour of semi sleep, to a high pitch scream, of who knows what, and then this, huge house shaking boom. I jump out of my body and fly up the stairs. There at the doorway is my bear wood carving and a black streak running up the stairs and out of my cats mouth, jumps some sort of animal. Now mind you, I dont have my shades on and I cant see anything but fuzzy and color. And then this thing leaps into my plant rack! A SQUIRREL, I could not believe my eye. How many of you actually get this close to your own Grizwold episode. I always thought it would be cool to have a pet squirrel, nope, not anymore. I thought our sugar glidder was scary, that aint nothing, this thing jumped onto my sun hanging on my wall, got freaked out and jumped up onto my corner hutch, took a quick turn and stared me down. I knew what was on his mind, Me. I backed up grabbed the broom, he jumped and I swung. No, I did not hurt him. He did a quick midair turn and hit the patio door. I opened the door at the same time that I was trying to block him in the dining room, along with both cats and the dog. I get the screen open and finally get him out the door, but also with a cat chasing him across both levels of our deck, over the deck wall and the poor thing finally gets to the top of a tree branch ,that would barely hold the wait of the squirrel. As I am trying to hang things back on the wall, the squirrel starts chattering and waving its tail. I think he was a bit upset , but then again, why wouldnt he be. He now is surrounded by our cat, along with two other transit cats, staring it down. I figured I better put on some shoes and go try helping this poor little guy. I got my shoes and headed to the door. There is no more chirping, the squirrel it is laying over the thin branch, not moving, not even a hair on its tail. I call out to it, it doent move. I grab a few small pebbles, and toss them out near the tree, nope, nothing, its limp. Great now the bawling begins. After all that and hes dead. Oh, and he couldnt have died in a better place, with the direct view being straight out my patio door. What a daily reminder! I went downstairs to get dressed so I could go outside and get it out of the tree. I started to open the patio door, and to my amazement, he was gone. I looked around and checked the cats. The little guy had been playing dead. At least it was a happy ending, and with that, my very own theme song. Everyone please hum the Folgers song and sing along. I finally got to sleep, after counting a million sheep, but it didnt last long, before the My sleep had ended wrong. The best part of waking uuuuuppppp, is to a squirrel lose in my house.
