I am so sorry to tell you all that Maisie has passed away in her sleep. She came to us with severe renal failure (kidney disease) and anaemia. We literally did everything possible for her to recover but sadly we were asked to help her far too late. She had become incontinent and as she had come to use with an extremely bad flea infestation, they were taking away all the nutrients that her body so badly needed to try to stabilise her kidney function. She never stood a chance. It is of little comfort but at least she passed away in her sleep and was in a safe, warm, and very loving foster home. Thank you Paul and Sheena for fostering this special girlie, you had really spoilt her and did everything you could for her. You went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and spoilt rotten, so she knew she was loved. RIP Maisie. We will meet again at rainbow bridge. Until then, we will never forget you.
