I am so surprised because there are so many new hotels are newly built and operating now. Do you know, most of the new hotels in Bali now have the same styles? See below my views. 1) Small pool 2) Small rooms 3) Clean and bright room because everything is new. Is nice of course, but, too small as sometimes I am wondering where to put my luggage? 4) No balcony 5) Small bathroom/toilet(if you are over 100kg, I dont think you can shower nicely. 5) Deceiving photos (photos so nice, but in real is really really not that nice, too small... everything too small) 6) Standard breakfast menu 7) Location is bad. They are mostly located on the noisy main road or too far from the beach, and centre. Do you know, there are a lot new hotels on Tanah Lot Sunset Road, and the location is hmm...... you cant reach to anywhere unless you have a car or you are willing to pay for a taxi 8) Standard price of USD40 to USD50. Some even giving promotion in groupon with price lower than USD25. 9) Claimed themselves as 3 stars hotel, but, how come a 3 star hotel is even smaller than my own house in KL or in Ubud? Friends, I am the tour planner of Bali and Nepal, if you want to book a hotel in Nepal or in Bali, can ask me directly, I will give advices without charging. I will tell you they are good or not good. There are many promotions on going on BALI hotels, but, not all of them are as good as per what they claimed in the promotion. Coming to BALI, first is to enjoy the fresh air, beach, mountains, easy access to everywhere, big space so you can enjoy more. I believe you dont want to stay in a square box like Tune Hotel in Bali, am I right? Ask me anytime, and dont simply book hotels directly from webs, then send me email ask me to quote only on tours. Sometimes I am wondering, how come you choose those hotels but of course I wont tell you in email. I will hurt your feeling. same price, you can get much better hotel with bigger rooms, and better locations. Many hotels have bad locations, and I am sure if you stay at those places, your holiday will be wasted. Think: You want to have some beers as some bars or clubs, you need to pay 100 000rp to get to the centre, coming back another 100 000rp, do you want to pay extra 25 dollar for nothing? Please choose those hotels nearer to centre, so you can walk, and can avoid traffic jam. Bali is so cute and beautiful, dont screw up your days in Bali by making the wrong choice.
