I am so thankful for our Oklahoma Highway Patrol. In the past two weeks, Ive had three meaningful encounters with Oklahomas best, all of which Im blessed to know personally. One of them pulled me over for crossing the yellow line (listening the KOMA with my fingers). He laughed and said, Preacher, what are you doing? Good to see you (no ticket....amen). Another one stopped by my office this morning to talk theology (hes a pastor in a state troopers uniform). And the third one, who reveals his brilliance by calling Bethany his church home, is a Dallas Cowboys fans and we regularly banter back and forth about them. No, Im not in trouble with the law, yet.
