I am sorry for the lateness of the day in posting Starting Points We should get Internet at the house sometime tomorrow and Ill try to get this out earlier in the day. Day 7 Day one was titled “Pray Continually. Today’s title is “Pray Continuously.” The words “continual” and “continuous” are similar: they both come from the word “continue,” but they are significantly different. Continual means start and stop, while continuous means never-ending. Continual things come and go, you are continually praying for a situation which takes place over a period of time. It began and it will come to a conclusion at some point. Some continual prayers are repeated but not constant. The situation may become chronic, like a cough that comes and goes. Most prayer requests require continual prayer. Continuous prayer is prayer always, prayer without ceasing. To illustrate, I pray continuously for my wife, children and Grand children but I also pray for them continually as situations in their life occurs. I pray for God to guide my life continuously and I pray about situations that occur continually. Life is an amazing journey but, as you well know, a hard journey which requires both continual and continuous prayer.
