Ryan and I applied to rescue a pet and we just received this email: Good Morning, The FHPR Board of Directors has reviewed your application and at this time we have decided that your application does not represent the best situation for the pet you applied to adopt. Please understand that this is not personal - it is our goal to do our best to match the right home with the right pet and it means everything to us that the new pet becomes a permanent part of the family we adopt them to. We want both the pet and the adopter to be happy, and very often rescued pets come to us with special needs and/or behavioral issues that we must address when re-homing them. We highly recommend that you consider adopting from a City or County shelter where they euthanize hundreds of pets every week. Please see laanimalservices for a list of available pets in your area.
