I am starting to be reluctant to send updates because theres so much more bad than good right now. I just want something GOOD to happen for Sanna!!!! So the news. Good first? Her liver numbers are getting better a little every day for the last few days. So we are calling it a trend in the right direction. :) Now the not so good. She has spiked a fever again and is feeling awful. Wont eat. And is vomiting up all her meds. Her blood pressure also took a dive today and caused much stress. She had the Cat Scan. No fun after being so sick. They put her back on dialysis today to counteract the adverse effect the scan dye has on the kidneys... Will hope that helps from further damage. Now the bad news. The drain site that they stitched up the other day to stop the continuous bleed is still bleeding, even after stopping Blood thinners. They are now doing old fashioned pressure treatment with a belt compressed over her abdomen in hopes this will stop the bleeding. But tonight, so far, it hasnt helped. They will do this overnite And reassess in the morning. Next steps are up in the air but not Im not liking anything theyve mentioned so far. Please please please pray - hope - will that the bleeding stops overnight!!! She just fell asleep so Im going to apartment now and be with her first thing in the morning. Its been three sleepless nights for me, I really hope I get some rest tonight. Xx k
