I am strong because at the age of 21 I found out I was pregnant with my first baby. I am strong because at 21 weeks, 6 days they told me that my baby was very small. I am strong because at 26 weeks 1 day, I was told my baby hadnt grown in 5 weeks. I am strong because at 27 weeks 4 days I was told that my baby had either Down syndrome, cystic fibrosis, or cmv. I am strong because at 28 weeks my baby had not grown for 7 weeks. And I was admitted to the hospital. I am strong because at 28 weeks 1 day, I went into preterm labor to a baby boy weighing 1 lb 5 oz. I am strong because I had to see my baby go through more in 83 days than most go through in a lifetime. I am strong because I went 82 nights without my baby by my side. I am strong because I pumped for 71 days, even knowing my baby couldnt drink the milk yet. I am strong because at 83 days, I took my baby home in oxygen and a monitor. I am strong because I watch my boy get at least two pokes a week. I AM STRONG, because I am the mom of a pre mature baby. And I am strong because this too shall pass ❤️
