I am stunned and saddened with the news that one of the most unique and dearest friends of my parents has passed away. Sister Emma Rae Eyre was the first one to know when someone was in need, or had a baby, or was getting married, or had moved into the neighborhood. I remember seeing her calendar at the Eyres home and there were so many things written on it you couldnt even see the dates. As I sit here writing this at 3:36 am it reminds me of the running joke in the neighborhood that no matter what time of the day or night there was a light on at the Eyres. She was a ball of energy and a loyal Aggie supporter, community server, and church member. most of all she was a devoted wife , mother, grandmother and friend. She seemed to know everyone! She was never at a loss for ideas. There will be a void in our lives without her and coming so soon after my mom joined my dad at Cache Valley Assisted Living, it leaves both my parents and the Eyres home empty. My heart hurts as Im sure many others do. It will never be the same on those 2 corners that once were a hub of activity. May the Lord bless the Eyre family during this difficult time. I love you all.
