I am such a book snob. I have a whole stack in my room that are unread because I bought them and couldnt get into the story. The author has to be descriptive, and they have to state certain things. For example, I didnt know Christina was black until I read Allegiant. The writing style has to be strong and constant, and descriptions of characters cant vary between books. If it is a male author writing from a girls perspective or writing girl characters in general, they have to understand that we are different than boys, thus I havent seen a completely realistic female written by a male.
