I am sure that all visitors to this Rihanna page have marvelled at the frequency, depth, accuracy and committment of Valerie Straker with respect to the updating of this page. Valerie took up this responsibility without being asked. All I did was to tell her thanks and gave her the permission to post her articles...... We the adminstrators- Annette Beckett and Stetson Babb, want to congratulate Valerie on the great work she is doing on this page, and to say on behalf of all the fans a big THANK YOU. As a token of our appreciation , we thought that we would share some of Valeriies thoughts about Rihana as listed below: - love and admire Rihanna (at such a young age with her creativity) as we all do. - loyal to her fans e.g. 777 Tour - tough competition in the music industry and she received her first Grammy within a year and a half - beaten the odds especially as an island girl. - dedication to her career (even when she was sick in the hospital) - philanthropist (e.g. proceeds of ALL MAC cosmetics goes to AIDS research and assist people) - many magazines clamour to have Rihanna on their cover. From an earlier age, Rihannas photos showed a glow of star material. Who knew what the future held? The best is yet to come. Im waiting patiently for R8.
