I am thankful for all the people who have contributed to supplying food for my table, most of whom are grossly underpaid and upon whose backs I eat for cheap. As a participant in this unjust system, I am guilty. Furthermore, I am also guilty of gluttony. I am not sure what to do. Feel free to share your ideas. For now, I am compelled to thank (as a place to start) the farmers and all their supportive industries, transportation and delivery personnel, middle persons, store personnel, and those who prepare food (including my dear Beth); domestic and foreign, legal and illegal, union and non-union.
