I am that parent that will: Join the PTA and be actively involved in my kids classroom bc I want to know everything that is going on..other parents on a first name basis..creating a very genuine statement that yes I am here and I care. Get out my car and tell u not to double park when ur picking up ur child be A. Its SOOO very annoying to all us parents who planned ahead and arrived early to get a parking spot..and B. Ur setting a poor example of following the rules--how do u expect ur child to be accountable when ur not? Show up unannounced at my kids school and surprise him just to make sure hes behaving ok bc mom can show up at anytime and place at any moment w a key to unlock any gate...cuz thats the perk of one of moms jobs #RAW
