I am thinking of starting The Ministry of Cognitive Public Hygiene foundation. One of the things this agency will do is produce profiles of progressive social and environmental activists by administering various psychological tests and personal history questionnaires. These profiles will be kept anonymously in a public database, something like those maintained by dating web sites. As on the dating sites, users will be able to search for topics of interest and exchange messages with the owners of the profiles. Actual dating will not be prohibited but is not the central purpose of the Ministry. Users will be able to update their own profiles and to link their profiles with 3-D avatars, homes, and virtual meeting spaces on OpenSim Hypergrids if they choose. We will also offer a few tools for collaborative discussions, project management, etc. Please let me know if you are interested in helping to create such a project with me. [Note: I chose the name because it was the only one not already taken by some other progressive movement or scheme.]
