I am tired. Exhausted. Worn down. I have chosen to be. Chosen to talk when I could sleep, to learn rather than dream, to experience my dream, rather than passively sleep through it. The time for What if... Will soon come to an end. In less than time than I wish, I will no longer be able to imagine my family joining me here, rather than my returning to them. The wistfulness and wishfullness will be replaced with acceptance of a choice long ago made. When will I be back is not the question as much as when will be back. To continue the challeninging dream we long ago interrupted for the possibility of fulfilling another. To move out of the long parenthetical thought, to return to the main topic. Regret? No, as long as it will have turned out to be a dream delayed, rather than a dream abandoned. Until I again return here in person, I will see you in my tired dreams.
