I am trying to sort out in my mind how the NFL is going to respond to player criminal violations. They have taken on substance abuse and now, domestic violence. Now Adrian Peterson (sic) has been indicted for child abuse. I dont understand how you could take on only a limited number of issues and ignore others. This will be interesting to watch as it progresses into other issues and spills over to what other sports and to the collegiate level????? Are sports becoming a second level of criminal punishment??? Could go a long way on getting punks out of sports. And the impacts on the drafting and trading could be interesting. This can all turn out to be a very good thing. Will be interesting to me and with the esteem that athletes are regarded could send quite a message the general public.
