I am very disappointed regarding the demolition of historic Elizabeth Mill. Another hotel? More office space for WHO exactly?? The declining business travel flowing through T.F. Green? The Elizabeth Mill could have been renovated to its original beautiful existence, and made into gorgeous apartments, and maybe a few small business shops along its 1st floor exterior, but no...you cant have that in a city with high property taxes and a choke hold economy that could never afford the rent to live there... the developer would never see the return on his investment. So this is what Warwick gets...the destruction of a beautiful historic mill for a city centre the sea gulls call home. The Mayor is desperate in thinking strip malls, empty hotels, an expanded runway and fried chicken will save the tax day here in Warwick. People cant even afford to pay for their utilities! Throw in some more big parking lots while your at it so we can have more drainage pollution flowing into the Bay. ~Stacia
